Search for Tisha two weeks on

1 min read

It is now two weeks since the last known sighting of Tisha Lowry and her family and the police inquiry team do not rest easily.

Detective Senior Sergeant Virginia Le Bas says that alleged recent sightings of Tisha have all been ruled out but there are many more inquiries still to make.

"We have staff at the Bower Tavern today speaking to persons there who may have been at the Hotel two weeks ago when Tisha is known to have been there with her Grandfather," she says.

"We have also searched the Avondale Golf Club this morning but this revealed nothing. We are still looking for answers."

Other inquiries and information are being continually followed up.

The inquiry team remains at about 35 officers with specialist groups brought in when needed.

DSS Le Bas will be available to media at Christchurch Central at 4pm today.
