Police concerned for safety of missing 2yr old boy

Waikato Police working to locate a missing two-year-old boy are seeking the public's help in locating the youngster's father who took the child over the weekend.

Detective Simon Everson of the Waihi CIB said Charles Ronald POURAU, 32, was last seen at his ex-partner's home in the town on Sunday 15th February.

"POURAU, who is also known as Ronald Charles BOWER, left the address with his two year old son Logan BRADY while his ex-partner was asleep, taking her 1992 Mitsubishi Eterna motor vehicle registration TX2870.

"Neither POURAU nor 2-year-old Logan have been seen since," said Mr Everson."

Both Police and the boy's mother hold concerns for the wellbeing of Logan.

"POURAU has also been known to use the first name Chas or Charlie and has contacts between Napier and Auckland but could be anywhere in the North Island."

POURAU is described as a light skinned male Maori of medium build, Logan is a two-year-old light skinned blond haired boy.

Anyone who may have seen POURAU, Logan or the missing Mitsubishi Eterna car or has any information on their whereabouts is asked to dial 111 or phone Waihi Police Station on 07-8638179.
