Police investigation Titahi Bay incident update

Porirua Police are seeking information regarding the death of two females in suburban Porirua today.

Police were called to the Morere Street, Titahi Bay address shortly before 11am this morning.

"We'd like to hear from anyone that heard or saw anything suspicious between 10pm last night and 10am this morning, 26 June," says Detective Inspector Shane Cotter.

Street cordons are still in place and Police are concentrating their investigation on the address. A scene examination is underway and the bodies remain at the address.

The identities of the pair will not be released until next of kin have been advised.

The investigation is still in its early stages and the cause of death is yet to be determined. The deaths are being treated as a homicide until more facts can be established.
