Northland Police took a wanted man into custody this afternoon without incident in Whatuwhiwhi Township on the Karikari Peninsula.
Police had been seeking to locate the 35-year-old for some time and had warrants for his arrest for an alleged aggravated robbery and kidnapping.
Police are appealing for recent sightings of the vehicle he was located in this afternoon and is believed to have been using in recent days.
The vehicle is a Nissan Patrol 4x4, registration TQ2892.
