Nelson Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault, which occurred on the Railway Reserve area near Neale Avenue, Stoke, after 8.00pm on Wednesday 13 July 2016.
Police have interviewed the victim this week.
The offender is described as a man in his early 30s, with dark coloured skin and short dark hair.
Police would like to hear from anyone that may have information about this incident or who saw suspicious activity in the area on the night of Wednesday 13 July 2016.
