Central District Police are seeking the public’s help to locate Natasha Fielding as they have concerns for her welfare after she ran away from her caregiver's home in Palmerston North on 14 January, 2015.

Phone contact late last week and inquiries to date have been unsuccessful in finding the 15-year-old, who Police believe is avoiding being found.

Police believe she may be staying with extended family in the Rodney/North of Auckland area.

Sergeant Craig Smith, Palmerston North Youth Services Coordinator says: "We encourage Natasha to contact police so we can ensure she is safe, and to reassure her family who are worried about her."

"Anyone who has seen Natasha or knows her whereabouts is asked to contact the Waitemata Police immediately on (09) 488 9754."
