Police ask for help in Invercargill incident

Invercargill Police are investigating an incident where a man has presented to Southland Hospital on Sunday, 18 September 2016, with a gunshot wound.

This incident is believed to have occurred in the Invercargill area sometime around 7pm on Sunday evening.

The man remains in a stable condition in Southland Hospital.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have any information in relation to this incident or from anyone who may have heard a sound believed to be a firearm around this time.
