Online reporting will be unavailable from 7pm to 9pm tonight, June 2nd (Tuesday), for form updates.
The outage is online only and you will still be able to call 105 to make a non-emergency report.

Report a Person Missing

Reports for a missing person cannot be made online, they must be made over the phone to Police by calling 111 or 105, or in person at your nearest police station.

If a person is missing and you have concerns for their welfare please call 111 immediately, and ask for Police.

Reporting a Person Missing from Outside New Zealand

If a person is missing and you have concerns for their safety and welfare, please make a missing person’s report at your nearest police station.  This will ensure that the report is forwarded to New Zealand Police without delay.

New Zealanders Missing Overseas

If a New Zealander is missing overseas and you have concerns for their safety and welfare, please make a missing person’s report at your nearest police station.  This will ensure that the report is forwarded to the appropriate international law enforcement agency without delay.
